Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah starrer Aagadu is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. Sreenu Vaitla is directing the film and it's being produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Currently, the film is being shot in Bellary and the team is expected to come back to Hyderabad shortly. 

As per the latest buzz in the industry, the film is likely to hit the screens on September 19. An official announcement is yet to be made and considering the buzz that the film might clash with Ram Charan, Kajal starrer Govindudu Andhari Vadele, this move to advance the film's date of release will certainly give it almost ten days of free run at the box-office. 

Shruti Haasan has also been roped in for a special song in this film and it's the first time she's going to shake a leg with Mahesh Babu. The film's first look created quite a stir on social media, few weeks ago, thanks to the punch dialogue, which takes a dig at punch dialogues in films. Although Mahesh Babu quashed rumours that the dialogue was targeted at few heroes, it has certainly sparked a fan frenzy about what else is in store in the film. The actor is playing the role of a cop and it's expected to be a complete mass entertainer.
